Description

Colorado River from the Spencer Trail. The Spencer Trail leaves the Colorado River at Lee's Ferry, the historic crossing built in the 19th Century. It's a hard steep hike to the top, but the trail affords beautiful views of the Colorado River, as well as the site of the Lee's Ferry fort and raft launch site, which are visible in the lower right of the photograph. In addition, the colorful rocks of the Vermillion Cliffs and Pariah Canyon have to be seen to be believed.
